Course Overview
It is specially designed to educate anyone on how to assess an emergency situation, how to call for help and priorities in emergency action.
Course Objectives
After attending the talk, participants will be able to:
• Realize the importance of First Aid intervention and the role of a First Aider • Describe the correct procedure to summon assistance, including EMS (Ambulance Service) • Describe a method of Systematic Scene Survey • Demonstrate a basic understanding of emergency action principles (DR. CAB)
Who is a First Aider
Based on the “DOSH Guidelines on First Aid in the Workplace” – 2nd Edition 2004, a First Aider means a person who has successfully completed a first aid course and has been awarded with a Certificate of Proficiency in first aid.

Certification
Having completed the course, participants will be awarded with Certificate of Training which are both nationally and internationally recognized.
Delivery of Certificate
Certificate will be delivered to the client’s correspondence address within 21 working days after completion of the course. Special arrangement for fast delivery can be made upon request.
Validity
Without retraining, knowledge might be forgotten while skills may deteriorate rapidly when not being used / practiced. Therefore, yearly retraining is very much recommended.

Simply sending a victim of an accident or sudden illness to the nearest hospital is not enough to save his / her life. More help must be provided before reaching to the hospital in order to increase his / her chances of survival.
