Snake Bite

Any idea of what to do in case of a snake bite?

Signs & Symptoms

  • A pair of puncture marks.

  • Severe pain, redness & swelling (in 5 min).

  • Discoloration & blood-filled blisters after 6-10 hrs

  • Nausea & vomiting.

What should you do?

  • Get away from the snake.

  • Keep the victim calm, clean the bite site with soap and water, wrap with elastic bandage, immobilize, & keep affected area just below heart level.

  • Note the snake’s appearance to help hinting the correct anti venom.

  • Seek medical care.
